A funny story...

Today Mally (age 4) and I were in her room and the following hilarious event unfolded:

Malia: Mom, let's go get a fresh peach shake!

Me: Ok. Should we go ask Daddy if he wants to go?

Malia's eyes light up.

Malia: Yeah! But let's make it a secret. We can make him close him eyes and him can't open him's eyes until we get there.

Me: That's a good idea Mal. Go ask Daddy if he want to go somewhere secret.

Malia runs into the other room, asks Daddy and we get ready to go. She was really cute and put a blindfold on him and led him to the car and helped shut his door and everything. I got into the drivers seat and she got all buckled in. When we were still in the garage...

Malia: Dad, don't open your eyes until we get to Taco Amigo, okay?


Philip immediately started laughing and so did I.

Malia: That isn't funny guys.

We drove the rest of the way there and then Mally took off his blindfold and exclaimed...

Malia: We're here!

Daddy: Wow! Taco Amigo!


I seriously live for moments like these. It makes my heart happy. :)
