If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that I have a slight obsession with brush script and hand lettering lately.
You can see that every few photos on my feed has a bit of brush script goodness going on. Today, I thought I would share a few of the tools that I've been using and a bit of how I go about things.
I go into detail about each pen or tool in this video I created:
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to leave me a comment. I'm just learning, but I'm having a blast. I would encourage any of you who have hesitated to give brush script a chance to just try it! Practice will help you get better! Next time you are binge watching your favorite show on Netflix, bring a sketch pad with you!
As always, thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to come back tomorrow for my next Collection Disconnection video!
Thanks for this Jen!! I can't wait to watch. I had really wanted to make myself a bit of art for my scrap room (obsessed with making one with "Makers Gonna Make" on it) and this will surely help!
ReplyDeleteI loved your video! You listed 3 of the Kuretake brush pens in your supply list--are they all the same one that you said you liked the best, just different sized points? I want to get the one that you used last in your video!
