Felicity Jane: Shopping

It's Tuesday, and that means I get to share a project using my Felicity Jane kits with you! Last week I documented a new back-to-school tradition and this week I'm scrapping a long-standing tradition.

I think scrapbooking traditions that happen every year can be hard, especially if you do the same thing each time. That's where I think it's a good idea to focus on different aspects of the tradition. Last year, I did a layout all about a particular shirt my daughter picked out that went along with a funny story (read it here and see it here). This year, I focused on the actual shopping. And I used photos that showed the close relationship that these girls have to each other, which I love.

I used mainly the "Here's the Scoop" August kit. The colors in that kit are divine and so are the papers!

I also used some of the Felicity Jane cut files now available in the Silhouette online store - how cool is that!? (Check it out, because they are super cute.)

I added a little bit of stamping, as I always do because I love stamping. And I love the stamps in this kit! Did you know you can get the stamps separately? You don't have to be a subscriber. :)

I wrote my journaling with a white pen on this little striped card from the cut-apart sheet. I haven't used a white pen in a long time and was happy to find that my Sakura Gelly Roll pen still worked perfectly!

If you want to watch the layout come together, you can watch the process video on my YouTube channel or right here:

I've linked to all available products below and as always, thanks so much for stopping by!
