Today, I want to share a Stash Kit: Old Meets New layout with you. I am loving the kit I put together this month.

You can see that I used some of my new cut files and I absolutely love the way they add to the page!

I used the word "Summer" from the Seasons cut file, and it looks great paired with that Heidi Swapp epoxy word sticker. I cut everything out on my Cameo in white carstock and then colored it with spray mist. I like to have cuts ready before I sit down to create so I don't have to stop in the middle of my process.

The journaling was done on my typewriter and I talk about how the everyday niceties don't go unnoticed when we are all happy and relaxed and on vacation. I think those kinds of stories are important to document in our vacation albums. I talk more about documenting those kinds of stories in my Photo Triage class. :)

I used my notebook punch to add a little bit of texture to the edges of the white cardstock. I saw Wilna Furstenberg do this once and I've wanted to try it since then!

If you want to see how this layout came together, you can watch the process video on my YouTube channel or right here:

I've linked to all available supplies below. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll check out the new stuff in my shop!
