Using Printable Quotes on Scrapbook Layouts

Yesterday I introduced you to the new cut files in my shop and showed you a layout using them. Today, I wanted to show you a layout that uses my "I Love You the Most" printable.

I want to give you a little back story. When my daughter was born, my sister was just 12 years old. She used to babysit for me and they became very close. They started doing saying, "I love you the most and a million" whenever they said goodbye to each other. It began with "I love you. I love you more. I love you the most!" and ended with, "I love you the most and a million". It was their thing. I love it.

On August 31, 2015, my sister had her second baby boy, sweet little Wesley.

I knew that I wanted to give her something special, and she had mentioned that she would love something to hang up in the boys' room. Later, we were talking and she told me how she uses the phrase, "I love you the most and a million" with Denver (and now Wesley) like she used to with Malia. That was perfect.

I made my brush script into a printable and gave it to her to hang on the wall. I knew I wanted this phrase to be the first printable in my shop.

So, back to the layout. I really wanted to show you that these printables aren't just for home decor. They can look great on a layout, or even sized down to be 3x4 cards for your Project Life! I printed the "Old Books" 5x7 version on some vellum and I love the way it looks here.

I added Wesley's stats with my typewriter and layered up a bunch of scraps.

I found this mini manila file folder and put a mini calendar on the front.

Inside, I told the story about where "I love you the most and a million" came from.

If you want to see how this layout came together, watch the process on my YouTube channel or right here:

  2. Loved watching the process video of this on Youtube but noticed you had the wrong date on the stats and didn't mention it in your video. You have his birth date as Sept 31 2015 which hasn't happened yet and I know you said it was actually August 31.

I love all of your videos.
