"Joe Fox: Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address. On the other hand, this not knowing has its charms."
I love that movie. So here's a bouquet of pencils. Kind of.
I created the title with a 3x4 card from the cut apart sheet and I added a little brush script to make it say what I wanted. I kind of love doing that.
I layered up a bunch of papers and 3x4 cards behind the photo to make it look like they were maybe just fell that way somehow.
I also smooshed some distress ink + water around on the background and used the line stencil from a previous kit + modeling paste to create some awesome texture.
I added some elements of gold with the word stickers and tissue paper confetti. In the photos, it kind of makes the layout feel heavy. But in real life, the reflective quality of the gold makes it just shiny and happy.
Finally, I added some journaling on a little label sticker. If you want to see how the layout came together, watch the process video below or over on my YouTube channel.
