Elle's Studio January 2017 Kit Reveal

It's the tenth and that means it's kit reveal time at Elle's Studio! I am so in love with the kit + coordinating extras this month.

I really loved the heart cut file, the stickers, and the cute Olivia alphabet stamp set! Of course those puffy hearts have my heart, but I didn't get them in time to create my projects for the release. You best believe I'll be putting them on EVERYTHING from here on out, though.

I created two layouts with this kit, and will be creating a third for the blog later this month. The first is a horizontal 8.5 x 11 layout (love that orientation) with the story of how I became and love being Aunt Jen Jen. I focused on the blues and yellows in the kit and I love that you can pull out just a few colors really easily.

The second is a layout about my niece and how quickly she demolished her birthday cake! So hilarious and so cute! I used the heart cut file and saved the cut out hearts, watercolored them, and put them back into place. Love the way that turned out. I also used the large wood veneer "True Love". It seemed so fitting for a layout about cake. I heat embossed it white and it was a good reminder to me that wood is easily altered. :)
