Hello again! This month I was asked to be the guest designer over at Cocoa Daisy. This month's kits were whimsical and romantic and I had so much fun working with them! I used both the Buttercup Scrapbook kit as well as the Day in the Life kit (their pocket scrapbooking kit).
Today, I wanted to share a process video for one of the layouts I created called "The Girls".
I used a technique that has kind of become a go-to for me with rub-ons, which is to create a photo mat out of them. I used almost the entire package of rub-ons and I like this for two reasons. One, it has a nice impact. I love the way they look all clustered together! And two, I actually use my rub-ons before they go bad.
I also lightly misted on the background with some Gold Color Shine using a Cocoa Daisy cut file as a mask. I think it turned out so pretty!
Like I said, I created a process video, which you can check out below. I've linked to the available products used at the end of this post.
Here's a little peek at the other two layouts I created. You can see the full projects over in my gallery at Cocoa Daisy.
Jen I was so happy to see you on cocoa daisy. I posted your name when they were looking for guest dt! Great skills with this kit. It sold out before I could grab it.

ReplyDeleteI struggle to know what to do with rub-ons ... I'm totally going to try this next time! Thanks for always inspiring, Jen! xoxo
